Built by someone who picked
the wrong dorm.
DormIQ exists because the information students need to make a good housing decision is scattered across Reddit threads, rate-my-dorm sites with 3 reviews, and word-of-mouth from upperclassmen you haven't met yet.
We collect long-form, structured reviews from students who actually lived in each hall — 8 specific prompts designed to surface what the housing office won't tell you. An inference layer synthesizes patterns across reviews into a plain-language verdict: best for, not for, and the themes that keep coming up.
No sponsored placements. No curated tours. No ratings out of 5 stars. Just the kind of detail you'd get from an older sibling who's been there.
We're launching at the University of Washington and expanding campus by campus.
Team, press kit, and partnerships info on the way.
