DormIQ exists because the information students need to make a good housing decision is scattered across Reddit threads, rate-my-dorm sites with 3 reviews, and word-of-mouth from upperclassmen you haven't met yet.

We collect long-form, structured reviews from students who actually lived in each hall — 8 specific prompts designed to surface what the housing office won't tell you. An inference layer synthesizes patterns across reviews into a plain-language verdict: best for, not for, and the themes that keep coming up.
