great place to live in and very convenient!
Busey-Evans sucks. it's a girls, not social at all and extremely lame. the hallways are confusing and long, the bathrooms were a mess and the people are weird. if you are looking to make friends, don't live here.
I hated living at Busey-Evans. It was all girls, which sucked because the girls that did live there were quite strange. Maybe this was just the floor I lived on, but it sucked. I made no friends there and the only good thing I can say about it is that its close to the quad and the food was pretty god.
The rooms are larger than those in the other dorms I've been in. Air conditioned, very quiet & close to the quad. There isn't really 'partying' going on, but it's a short walk to the bars. The bathrooms are cleaned at least 6 days of the week. The only complaint is the food, but that is pretty consistent for all of university housing.
The rooms vary in size, but are bigger on average than rooms in other residence halls. It is a very clean and nice place to live and close to everything. There is no overnight parking for students but plenty of street parking if people come to visit you during the day. The dining area is quite nice, and the late night is very popular- they serve chocolate covered strawberries and Haagen-Dazs ice cream! I lived there for three years, and it was a very positive experience.
I loved living here!! The people were great, it was so close to the quad and all my classes. I had a corner room, so it was even bigger than the normal ones. The staff were so polite and respectful. I lived here my freshman and sophomore year because it was so nice.
Really clean, quiet, close-to-campus dorm. Highly recommended. Girls-only, but there were plenty of guys hanging around!
