I loved living in Russell! My hall was awesome, we were one big family, and they are newly renovated, so the state of the rooms and bathrooms were above and beyond!

Russell if the best dorm on campus. It's on East campus, so it's close to Perkins, the student center, and the Harrymart but it's also super close to central campus, where a lot of classes are. Russell has the best dining hall and the best lounges. There are always activities going on thanks to the RA staff and the Russell Fellows, peer academic mentors for freshmen honors students. Because it's an honors dorm, there are still plenty of places to study quietly and everybody respects that. It's always a great community and a great place to live!!

Living in Russell freshman was great. Being on an all girls floor, however, wasn't.

I lived in room 307 Russell Hall D during 1978-1979 school tear. The dorms at that time were about twenty years old and in nice condition. The only problem I had was it was not air conditioned and Sept'78 and May of '79 were hot. , Parking was much better then; it's probably a nightmare now. Russell Hall was cool. Yes, I would have lived there again if I had it to do all over, but I would get a window AC.. UofD was a fantastic experience for me, and I would do it all over again.
