Old buildings, but the people there are what make it so fun!
I lived in a single that was very small compared to a normal double room college dorm. In addition I shared a bathroom with all the girls on my floor that had 6 showers and 3 toliets.
While Rodney may not be the most luxurious place to stay, the social aspect of the dorm is what makes it appealing to a student.
I loved living in Rodney my freshman year. It was such a social environment; we always had our doors open. Most of my friends from UD are the friends I made from Rodney. When I needed to study I was able to close the door and have a quiet study space. I loved how the doubles had 2 rooms so that we were able to separate our bedroom area from our study area.
Rodney was a great place to live, but definitely too small and I could have done without the Rodney bugs.
The rooms are mostly very small singles with a few double rooms on each floor. When I lived there, the common bathroom usually had at least one toilet and sink that was not working. One positive about living there was that because the rooms were so small, everyone would spend a lot of time hanging out in lounge or hallways and everyone was able to get to know each other. As bad as it was, I do kind of miss living there.
one of the best places to live on campus and make friends. Wouldn't trade my time at the rodjects for anything.
I loved living in Rodney! Even though the buildings are very old and it consists mostly of singles, it is very social. I had the best time living there. And hey it's one of the few freshman dorms that has air conditioning.
Most social place at the university, best time of my life
