In my Freshman year, I lived in the 1300 dorms. They were suite-style, so you share your room with one person, and your room is adjacent to another room which has 2 people living in it. You and these 3 people share 2 half-bathrooms, one with a toilet and sink and one with a shower and sink. It's a pretty nice set-up. The rooms were pretty big, and 1300 is great for both studying and socializing. Like most Freshman dorms, there isn't a kitchen, but there is a place to get food in the basement of 1300. Plus, the SAC is only one block away. The only issue is parking, which is a problem for any dorm at Temple. There is a street adjacent to 1300, called Park Ave, where you can find parking most of the time, but it is closed because of construction right now. I moved to one of the 1300 apartments my Sophomore year. These apartments were great. The kitchen was amazing. I have never had so much cabinet space before. You can choose to live in a 1, 2, or 4-person apartment. I lived in a 2-person apartment. We had one bedroom, a living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom, which were all pretty big rooms. It comes furnished. Overall, I loved living in 1300 both years. I would definitely recommend it.
