I've lived in Holland Hall for three years. Though better than Pitt's infamous Towers, they lag behind many other institutions housing. They lack kitchens, air conditioning, and wifi internet, but have larger rooms and crown molding so I guess it all comes out in the wash.

I generally love Halls! It's close to our gym which is nice, and a little further from classes, but it works out fairly well. The food in our cafeteria isn't the greatest, and it's closed on weekend nights. I'm lucky with a big corner room that my roommate and I love, and the only real problem I think with our floor is how small the girls shower stalls are! They are much tinier then the boys, the boys bathrooms on a whole are actually much nicer than ours.

Kemper is clean and deathly quiet. It had suite-style rooms that make it look kind of like an apartment. I lived there for a year and never met 2 of my 5 suite mates because they didn't leave their rooms ever. It's the most expensive dorm on campus, but lets you get off the meal plan which is nice. Better to just live off campus in an apartment than here.
